Our leafy beer garden has a large adjoining children’s area, welcoming families and children of all ages.

Our focus is on quality, seasonality and sustainability. Supporting ethical and responsible practises. The Henson is a playground for everyone to enjoy.

Our philosophy at The Henson is to give back to the community that give to us. We like to help out where and when we can over many different avenues. We currently sponsor:

Australia’s oldest Rugby Leagues football clubs with a loyal & cult following. A Newtown home game at Henson Park is a definitive Sydney cultural experience.

With memberships in the thousands, this club is the heartbeat of the Inner West soccer community.

A great family orientated sports club that is rapidly growing and teaching kids the great skills rugby has to offer.

We also give donations, run coin donation jars, host lunches and run a number of fund raisers for a number of local organisations and initiatives. Some ongoing relationships include:
Stepping Stone House – Addison Road Community Centre – Newtown Community Centre – Maggies Rescue – Local schools
We get on board wherever we can. If you would like us to help support and initiative for your organisation, please don’t be afraid to ask.
